Mindfulness Lessons for Students in Grades 3-6
As students begin to cement their feelings about learning and school, including mindfulness lessons in their school environment can help build confidence and curiosity. Our curriculum for grades 3 to 6 includes 32 original mindfulness lessons designed to span an entire school year. Lessons cover the fundamentals of mindfulness, such as posture, breathing exercises, body awareness and awareness of the senses, as well as more complex topics, like identifying thoughts and emotions, cultivating compassion and building a positive sense of self. Grades 3 to 6 teachers receive access to audio files, slide presentations, worksheets, discussion questions and more.
